Food Microbiology

Microorganisms are responsible for the inhibit, create and contamination of the food. This study involves the analysis of microorganisms in food that involves in the fermentation, spoilage, food poisoning and other roles. The major sources of intrinsic factor in food includes plants, animals, skin, air, sewage, soil etc while extrinsic include temperature, relativity and humidity of environment, concentration and other activity of microorganisms. Both intrinsic and extrinsic factor of food affect the microbial growth.
